A Tesla may slow down mostly through regenerative braking, but its friction brakes still matter every time a customer needs a hard stop, emergency stop, inspection repair, or post-collision rebuild. This Tesla brake parts selection guide is built for repair shops, rebuilders, and owners who need the right parts the first time - without guessing from a photo or assuming every Model 3 or Model Y brake setup is the same.

Tesla brake jobs are not always routine wear-and-tear work. Low friction-brake use can allow rotors to develop surface corrosion, caliper slide hardware to bind, and pads to glaze or wear unevenly. Add year-to-year production changes, performance packages, and prior repairs, and part selection becomes a fitment decision before it becomes a price decision.

Start With Vehicle Identification, Not the Part Photo
